We first became involved with Smooth Collies in the 1960's and won our first CC in 1975 with Mrs Rhys's Ch Blue Heritage at Hughley who lived here at Foxearth.

To date we have bred or owned over 50 champion Smooth Collies in both sexes and all colours - still the only UK kennel to have achieved this. We have had top sire, top dam, top dog and top breeder awards many times.

Smooth Collies bred by us have found success in the show ring here and in many other countries. Others have gone on to excel in obedience and agility or simply as much loved family companions.

We are both heavily involved with the Smooth Collie Club of Great Britain. Trevor had been its chairman since 1983, but now holds the position of President of the Club.  Birgit was awarded the Swedish Collie Club's Breeders Award and in 2005 - the Smooth Collie Club's Mary Hardy Award. Trevor gives CC's in Smooth & Rough Collies, and Birgit, Smooth & Rough Collies and Dachshunds.
